Abstract:
PURPOSE: To surely prevent the outflow of a seepage liquid to the outside sea from the reclaimed ground side at a reclamation disposal site or after the completion of reclamation, simplify the facility structure, and facilitate the operation and management.
CONSTITUTION: A shutoff section 9 having double walls at a prescribed interval is formed with steel sheet piles 3a, 3b on a disposal site 2 side near a revetment at the sea reclaimed ground disposed and buried with wastes 7, and a water feed means into the shutoff section 9 is provided. The water level in the shutoff section 9 is invariably kept higher than the water level in the reclaimed disposal site 2.
