Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a softening device which can be easily operated for reproduction of a cation exchange resin.SOLUTION: A softening device comprises: an ion exchange resin part for softening water; a tank; a water inlet part which is disposed on a downstream side of a cation exchange resin; and a water outlet part which is disposed on an upstream side of the cation exchange resin, in which outflow of soft water and reproduction of the cation exchange resin are repeated. The ion exchange resin part comprises mesh members on the upstream side and the downstream side of the cation exchange resin, and a capacity of the cation exchange resin is equal to or more than 90% of a volume between the mesh members on the upstream side and the downstream side. In the softening device, after prescribed reproduction, when a water flow volume is 10 L/minute, and hardness of raw water is 60-80 mg/L, 400 L of water having hardness of 0-20 mg/L can be collected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
