Abstract:
To provide a water softening apparatus capable of suppressing extending a time required for regeneration processing of an ion exchange resin of the water softening apparatus.SOLUTION: A water softening apparatus 1 comprises a water softening tank 3, a neutralization tank 4, an electrolytic tank 12, and a separation part 14. The water softening tank 3 converts raw water including hard components to soften water by using a weakly acidic cation-exchange resin 10. The neutralization tank 4 neutralizes pH of soft water passed through the water softening tank by using a weakly basic anion-exchange resin 11. The electrolytic tank 12 generates acidic electrolytic water for regeneration of the weakly acidic cation-exchange resin 10 of the water softening tank 3 and alkaline electrolytic water for regeneration of the weakly basic anion-exchange resin 11 of the neutralization tank 4. The water softening apparatus 1 performs exchange processing of water conduction of raw water to the water softening tank 3 during regeneration processing of the water softening tank 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
