A salt basket 52 adopted in a regenerating salt water supplying device constituting the water-softening system has a rugged shape part 112 consisting of protrusion parts 113 and rugged parts 115 extended in the up and down direction on the inner circumferential surface 100. A salt particle charged into the salt basket 52 becomes in a state of abutting on a protruded part 113. Therefore, a contact area between the inner circumferential surface 100 of the salt basket 52 and the salt particle is reduced, a shear force generated between the inner circumferential surface 100 and the salt particle is increased when the salt particle drops by self weight and, thereby, the salt particle smoothly drops downwards.
