To provide a water-soluble adhesive plastic film label which has excellent water resistance, is wrinkle-free and mold-free, is rapidly removed from a container to thereby reduce washing costs.

The water-soluble adhesive plastic film label 100 includes: a contractible plastic film layer 10 which is contracted by applying hot water, steam, or hot air at a temperature equal to or higher than the predetermined temperature to the label attached to a container 200 such as a bottle or others such as a PET bottle; a printed layer 20 laminated on the front surface of the contractible plastic film layer 10, including characters and a figure printed on the printed layer 20 and indicating a product; and a bonding layer 30 laminated on the rear surface of the contractible plastic film layer 10 and bonding the contractible plastic film layer 10 to the container, wherein the bonding layer 30 is made of a water-soluble adhesive.
