Abstract:

To provide a compound which has high solubility in water, and has a hue suitable for inkjet recording and excellent ozone gas resistance, and to provide an ink composition containing the compound.

There is provided a compound represented by formula (1) or a salt thereof [wherein R1is a sulfo group or the like; R2and R3are each independently H, Cl, sulfo, carboxy, sulfamoyl, carbamoyl, 1 to 4C alkyl, 1 to 4C alkoxy, OH, 1 to 4C alkoxy substituted with sulfo, or carboxy; (m) and (p) are each independently an integer of 1 to 3].
