Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-soluble yellow pigment (compound) having high water solubility and excellent in a variety of fastness such as water proofness, moisture proofness, ozone gas resistance, wear resistance, and light resistance, and to provide a yellow ink composition for ink-jet printing including the same.SOLUTION: The present invention provides, for example, a water-soluble azo compound represented by formula (12), synthesized by diazo coupling of 2-amino-3,5-dibromo benzoic acid with a pyrazole compound prepared from 5-amino isophthalic acid via a hydrazine compound, or salt thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: None
