Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a water-soluble cellulose ether easily dispersible and quickly dissolvable in an aq. solvent.
CONSTITUTION: This water-soluble cellulose ether contains a silane of the formula: Si(-R1)(-R2)(-R3)(-R4) [wherein R1 is a 1-2C alkyl, alkoxy or acyloxy group; and R2, R3 and R4 are each independently a 1-2C alkoxy or acyloxy group] and a salt of dioctylsulfosuccinic acid, and has a reversibly crosslinked structure formed by a reaction thereof with the silane.
