PURPOSE: To efficiently obtain high specific surface area by pulverizing while a pulverizing auxiliary is successively added in the prescribed number of times.

CONSTITUTION: A desired quantity of cement clinker such as Portland cement is charged into a ball mill, etc., and 0.01-1.0wt.% the pulverizing auxiliary agent such as diethylene glycol, etc., is prepared as the total quantity to the clinker. Subsequently the pulverizing auxiliary agent is added in at least two times just before starting of pulverizing or during pulverizing and performed the pulverizing. Thus the cement having ≥4000cm2/g specific surface area at a Blaine value is produced.
