Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water-soluble lubricant for wire-drawing processing, having not inferior lubricating properties in wire-drawing processing of soft wire, not having excessive lubricant after wire drawing without performing cleaning and having a negligible small dispersion of lubricant residue in the longer direction of wire. SOLUTION: This water-soluble lubricant for wire-drawing processing comprises an aqueous solution containing a nonionic surfactant having 10-20 HLB value and 350-20,000 average molecular weight.
