Abstract:
To obtain a water soluble polymer primer for efficiently synthesizing various oligosaccharides, applicable to an automatic synthesis and provide a method for producing the oligosaccharides by using the water soluble polymer primer.
The water soluble polymer primer for synthesizing the oligosaccharides is a copolymer comprising an acrylamide derivative expressed by general formula (I) (wherein R1 expresses a monosaccharide residue or an oligosaccharide residue; R2 expresses a linker having length of 4-20 methylene groups) with at least one species of vinyl monomer. The acrylamide derivative expressed by general formula (I) is included in the whole vinyl copolymer in ≤10 mole%.
