Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a novel polymer composition useful in coating and ink applications.
CONSTITUTION: There is provided a copolymer of at least one vinyl ester monomer with at least one vinyl-functional acid-containing monomer in which the vinyl group is separated from the acid group by at least two atoms, which copolymer has a number-average molecular weight of below 10,000 and is substantially water-soluble in a neutral state.
