Abstract:
To provide means for correcting an error due to a temperature change and means for removing a cause of an error in measurement of a pressure in a cuff of a water blood pressure meter.SOLUTION: In a water blood pressure meter in which an upper air reservoir 12 of a water tank 11 is sealed by a lower air reservoir 13, an upper end of a water column pipe 15 protruding from the top of the air reservoir 12 is connected to a cuff 30 and a lower end is immersed in water, the water tank 11 is installed in the water of a mug bottle 2 filled with the water, a temperature of the air reservoir 12 is determined by measuring a temperature of the water in the mug bottle 2 by a thermometer 4, an air feed balloon 31 is compressed by closing an exhaust valve 32, and a pressure in the cuff is measured by visually measuring a change in a height of a water column 16 by a scale plate 5, a temperature correction method corrects an apparatus constant by means of a correction formula guided from temperature dependency of the apparatus constant measured by changing the water temperature in the mug bottle 2 and prevents evaporation of water in the water reservoir 12 with a vaporization prevention layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
