Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water stop device for an expansion pipe, which is enabled to retain a predetermined water stop function by a simple construction.SOLUTION: A water stop device 1 for stopping water between the inner face of a building frame water passage 5 formed in the side wall 3 of a game chamber G and the end part outer face of an extendible pipe 12 to be inserted from the gate chamber G into the building frame water passage 5. The water stop device 1 comprises: a flange 15 formed at the end part of the extendible pipe 12; a water stop member 16 interposed between the inner face of the building frame water passage 5 and the outer face of the extendible pipe 12; and pressing means 17 composed of a rod driving part 20 or the like for pushing the water stop member 16 onto the flange 15. The water stop member 16 is elastically deformed by receiving a pressing reaction force from the flange 15, thereby to cut off the water between the inner face of the building frame water passage 5 and the outer face of the extendible pipe 12.
