A cylindrical electric wire-holding part 20 is formed continuously in the smaller diameter side end of a tapered grommet main body 10, and a water stop agent-packed chamber 30 communicated with the electric wire-holding part 20 is formed in the inside of the grommet main body 10 via the wall part 11 of the smaller diameter side of the grommet main body 10 and the water stop agent-packed chamber 30 is filled with a water stop agent 40 to give this water stop grommet, in which a bundle of electric wires 50 are tightly sealed. In such a grommet, a fine hole 11a communicating with the water stop agent- packed chamber 30 is formed in the wall part 11 in the smaller diameter side of the grommet main body 10, and a space 31 communicated with the fine hole 11a is formed in the water stop agent-packed chamber 30 filled with the water stop agent 40, while parting the wall part of the smaller diameter side of the grommet main body 10 and the water stop agent 40.
