Abstract:
To provide a water stop plate and a water stop structure for a building opening using the same allowing: series connection arrangement of an upper side plate body and a lower side plate body as fitting the plate bodies to each other is simple and easy; the upper side plate body and the lower side plate body to be adequately prevented from tilting in a longitudinal direction even when pressing force by a downward pressing mechanism is applied to a water stop plate body in a direction from an upper to a lower side; and the water stop plate body to be simply and easily placed in the building opening without any bending.SOLUTION: A water stop plate preventing water from intruding in a direction from a front as an outer section to a rear as an inner section of a building opening is configured to: arrange a plurality of plate bodies in a series connection arrangement in a height direction; comprise a water stop plate body in an erected plate shape having an opening abutment surface abutting a front end edge of the building opening and a ground abutment surface abutting the ground as well as a downward pressing mechanism pressing the water stop plate in a direction from an upper to a lower side, to form an erected surface to fit one plate body side end part of the other plate body to a front side outer edge and a rear side outer edge of the other plate body side end part of one plate body, out of the one plate body and the other plate body provided continuously in the height direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
