PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ice maker capable of corresponding to an area with either bad or good water quality.
SOLUTION: A water supply board 17 provided with a headrace 14, a nozzle 15, and a return hole 16 is integrally attached to an upper part of the water storage tank 13 provided with an overflow pipe 11 and a water supply pump 12. A water supply mechanism 10 wherein the water supply pump 12 and the headrace 14 are connected by a water supply pipe 18 is supported by a rotary shaft 19. The water supply board 17 abuts on an ice making tray 20 integrated with a cooling plate 21 during ice piece forming. In the water storage tank 13 for the ice maker comprised so that the water supply mechanism 10 rotates around the rotary shaft 19 at ice piece completion, and ice pieces are discharged by slanting the water supply board 17, a drain hole 27 communicated with a drain passage 26 is provided in a bottom face oscillation end of the water storage tank 13, a bottom face of the water storage tank 13 slants downward toward the drain hole 27 when the water supply board 17 is slanted, and a slide valve 25 with a lock lever which can be opened and closed is added to the drain hole 27.
