To implement an inexpensive and easily maintainable water supply apparatus which can eliminate lead contained in water supplied from a water supply main pipe, at an intake port of indoor piping, suppresses elution of lead from the indoor piping and potable water supply equipment, and drastically reduces the amount of lad contained in water and hot water spouted from the potable water supply equipment.
The water supply apparatus is comprised of a water supply header, a hot water supply header, water supply piping, and hot water supply piping. The water supply header communicates with the water supply main pipe, and includes a water supply piping connecting port to the water supply equipment and a water outlet port to a water heater. The hot water supply header includes a hot water intake port from the water heater and a hot water piping connecting port to the water supply equipment. The water supply piping connects the water supply piping connecting port to the water supply equipment, and the hot water supply piping connect the hot water supply piping connecting port to the water supply equipment. Further, a lead eliminating section is arranged on an upstream side of the water supply header, to thereby suppress elution of lead.
