Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a pilot-type water supply solenoid valve used at a washing machine and the like capable of reducing poor stoppage of water supply by foreign materials.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a pilot-type water supply solenoid valve comprising a diaphragm valve 11 configured by a hard resin plate 19 including valve chambers 4 and a back-pressure chamber 25 each of which is arranged between a water inlet 2 and a water outlet 7, a pilot orifice 21 arranged to separate the valve chambers 4 from the back-pressure chamber 25 to enable the back-pressure chamber 25 to be communicated with the water outlet 7 and a side orifice 22 communicating the valve chambers 4 with the back-pressure chamber 25 and elastic members 20; and a valve body 24 driven through an electrical energization for a coil 18. An end part of the side orifice 22 of the hard resin plate 19 facing to the back-pressure chamber 25 has a salient shape with a slit groove structure communicating with a central hole, thereby it becomes difficult that some fine foreign substances entered into the back-pressure chamber 25 close the side orifice 22 and so it is possible to prevent occurrence of poor water stoppage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
