To provide a water supply system capable of continuing the water supply without suspending the operations of pumps even if transmission faults take place between a plurality of inverter control sections and a control section that issue start commands of the inverters to these inverter control sections.
The water supply system including a plurality of inverters that variably control the rotation numbers of corresponding pumps, respectively, out of a plurality of the pumps, a plurality of inverter control sections that issue speed command of corresponding inverters, respectively, out of a plurality of the inverters, the control section that issues the start command of inverters to a plurality of the inverter control sections, wherein a plurality of the inverter control sections each start corresponding inverters based on the start commands from the control section to operate them in a normal operation mode that issues a speed command to the inverters and start their corresponding inverters regardless of whether or not there come start commands from the control section if the transmission difficulties take place with the control section, and the water supply system is operated in an abnormal operation mode that performs a speed command to the inverters, is provided.
