Abstract:

To solve the problem that water inside a pump powered by an internal combustion engine and inside a pipe on the pump side remain in situ until the pump powered by the internal combustion engine is operated and that there is the risk of remaining water inside the pump and inside the pipe left for a long time to decompose.

A water supply system is provided with a first pipe passage 12 on which a motor-driven pump 21 is installed, a second pipe passage 13 on which an engine-powered pump 26 is installed and which forms an alternative supply channel of the first pipe passage 12, and third pipe passages 14a, 14b on which a solenoid valve 36 is installed and which form a water passage that extends from the downstream side towards the upstream side of the engine-powered pump 26 and passes through the engine-powered pump 26 in a halt condition. When the motor-driven pump 21 is in operation, a part of the water supplied through the first pipe passage 12 flows through the second pipe passage 13 and third pipe passages 14a, 14b.
