Title:
WATER TANK FOR MEASURE TO COUNTER EARTHWQUAK DISASTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2704856
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the stagnation causing the deterioration of water quality, in a water tank for a measure to counter an earthquake disaster having inflow and outflow pipes provided thereto, by arranging water guide pipes guiding water streams to the entire region of the cross section of a water tank main body through an inflow gap sucking water of the corner parts in the water tank main body in the vicinity of the inflow and outflow ports of the inflow and outflow pipes.
CONSTITUTION: The water form an inflow pipe 12 flows in a water tank main body 11 through an inflow gap 14 and a sleeve pipe 15 and passes through the sleeve pipe 15 to be reduced in water pressure and flow velocity but, at this time, the water of the corner part of the mirror plate on an inflow side 11a is sucked from the inflow gap 14 by the flow velocity of the water passing through the inflow gap 14. Water streams are generated in the entire region of the cross section of the water tank main body 11 by this suction action and the inflow action from the end of the sleeve pipe 15 to prevent the deterioration of water quality caused by stagnation. In an outflow port 13a, water streams are converged to be emitted from an outflow pipe 13 through a sleeve pipe 15 and the water of the corner part of the mirror plate on an outflow side 11b is sucked from an inflow gap 14 to be introduced into an outflow pipe 13 without being stagnated.
