Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject apparatus capable of storing living fish, cultured fish and fish of aquarium, etc., in living state by providing a water tank with an organism-treating tank and a bubble-separation tank in a state to balance the loads of both tanks.
CONSTITUTION: Water 5 in a water tank 1 holding living fish 2 is transferred to an organism-treating tank 7 with a pump 6, the organic substances is decomposed and nitrated by microorganisms 9 attached to a filter medium 8 and the water is returned to the water tank 1 with a pump 6a. Water 5 sucked with a pump 15 is mixed with air by a bubble-generator 16, returned to a bubble-separator 17, sucked with a pump 18 and returned through a heat- exchanger 10 to the water tank 1.
