To provide a water treating apparatus small in size and simplified in assembling with a simple structure and having a pipe line structure low in cost and easy in maintenance.
The water treating apparatus is provided mainly with a mounting base upper layer 2, a lower layer 3, an activated carbon unit 4 and a hollow fiber membrane unit 5 and each unit is held on the mounting base upper layer 2 by a treating unit holding fixtures 31-34. A flow-in pipe 6 of city water is connected to a pipe line 7 and further connected to the upper part of the activated carbon unit 4 through a pipe line 8. The activated carbon unit 4 and the hollow fiber membrane unit 5 are connected with a pipe line 9. A pipe line 10 is connected to the upper part of the hollow fiber membrane unit 5 and introduced through the mounting base part with a pipe line 11 to the outside of the apparatus. And, by a spring 12 and a sealing mechanism 13, each unit is fixed by being pushed down while sealing the joint of the pipe line of the upper part of each of the activated carbon unit 4 and the hollow fiber membrane unit 5.
