To provide a water treatment apparatus capable of maintaining water quality by effective sterilization through an electrolytic treatment.
The water treatment apparatus used in connection with a water tank comprises an electrolytic tank for the electrolytic treatment by passing a current through water, a pump for supplying the electrolyzed water in the electrolytic tank to the water tank, a water supply conduit from the electrolytic tank to the pump, and a framework to unitize these components by housing them. The water treatment apparatus is characterized in that the framework is divided between a first space and a second space disposed directly below the first space, and in that the electrolytic tank is disposed in the first space while the pump and the water supply conduit in the second apace. Since the footprint of the framework as a unit can be smaller than ever before by disposing the electrolytic tank and the pump one above the other, the apparatus can be adapted flexibly to the situation of the installation space by simplifying the installation operation etc.
