Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment apparatus with a simple structure, capable of accurately detecting the silica concentration in a concentrated water separated by a reverse osmosis membrane module, and inhibiting the deposition of silica scale by adjusting the recovery ratio based on the accurately detected silica concentration value of the concentrated water.SOLUTION: The water treatment apparatus includes: dilution means 18 which mixes a first concentrated water W3 separated by a first reverse osmosis membrane module 7 with a dilution water W2 circulating in the water treatment apparatus so as to manufacture a first diluted concentrated water W30; first silica concentration detecting means SS1 which detects the silica concentration of the dilution water W2 as first detected silica concentration value Cp; second silica concentration detecting means SS2 which detects the silica concentration of the first diluted concentrated water W30 as second detected silica concentration value Cm; and a control part 30 which adjusts the recovery ratio such that the calculated silica concentration value Cc of the first concentrated water W3 calculated from the first detected silica concentration value Cp and the second detected silica concentration value Cm corresponds with an allowable silica concentration value Ca.
