Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment method and cooling tower installation in cooling water system in which the biofilm in the cooling water system can be suppressed even without the addition of slime control agent as well as the use amount of the slime control agent can be reduced.SOLUTION: In a method of preventing biofilm in a cooling water system in which a cooling water cooled in a cooling tower is circulated and passed through a heat exchanger, and a make-up water is supplied to the cooling tower, provided is a water treatment method in a cooling water system characterized in removing phosphoric acid in the make-up water as well as in using a non-phosphorus-based corrosion prevention agent as a corrosion prevention agent.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
