Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment method which controls fouling of a RO membrane without iron-removal treating and maintains good water permeable performance over the long term, and to provide a water treatment system.SOLUTION: The treating method includes an iron-content reforming step for reforming a raw waste containing an iron fine particle as an impurity component in a cation exchange resin bed tower, and a first reverse osmosis membrane separation step. In the cation exchange resin bed tower, operation containing a reforming process which passes the raw water through a cation exchange resin bed to produce a reforming treated water, and a regeneration process which passes a regenerating solution through the cation exchange resin bed, is carried out. In the regeneration process, an aqueous solution of an alkali metal salt is supplied to regenerate the cation exchange resin bed, while in the reforming process after the regeneration process the raw water is passed by setting the linear velocity for the cation exchange resin bed to 5-60 m/h without iron removal treating and acid addition treating.
