Abstract:
To provide a water treatment system, capable of suppressing precipitation of solid sulfur effectively, a geothermal power plant and water treatment method.SOLUTION: A water treatment system applied to a geothermal power plant, comprises a turbine 9 that is rotationally driven by geothermal fluid ejected from a geothermal well, a heat exchanger 10 that cools steam discharged from the turbine 9 by contacting it with cooling water, and a cooling water system through which cooling water flows. The water treatment system comprises: a setting unit that sets a target value so that at least one of pH and redox potential of the cooling water in the cooling water system is out of a precipitation range, which is a range of water quality in which solid sulfur is precipitated in the cooling water in which hydrogen sulfide is dissolved; and an adjustment unit that adjusts the quality of cooling water based on the target value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
