Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent evaporation of cooling water and thereby to conduct effective water washing in the case when elements for regeneration of a regenerative heat exchanger are washed with water in the course of operation.
CONSTITUTION: A nozzle 3 for cooling which jets cooling water is provided on the upstream side in the direction of rotation of a rotating body in relation to a nozzle 2 for washing which jets washing water against a plurality of elements for regeneration, and the washing water is jetted from the nozzle 2 for washing against the elements after the elements are cooled by the cooling water jetted from the nozzle 3 for cooling.
