Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sprinkler system for a tank used as an emergency sprinkler system when a tank is exposed to high heat due to nearby fire and a usual sprinkler system is damaged or a sprinkled amount is insufficient which receives fire extinguishing water from outside, such as a connected water supply pipe or a fire truck, and cools the whole tank and performs fire extinction, or predominantly sprays and cools a specific part, such as a tank column, so as to prevent the specific part, such as the tank column, from buckling due to exposure to high heat.SOLUTION: A water receiving tray 8 is mounted on the top of the tank 1 for receiving fire extinguishing water from outside, such as from the connected water supply pipe 13 or the like. A plurality of small holes are formed in the water receiving tray 8 to sprinkle the whole surface of the tank 1 via the plurality of small holes.
