Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve adhesiveness by blending a specific emulsion of a specific epoxy resin with an emulsion of a synthetic resin, an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer-based emulsion, a mono(poly)amidoamine water dispersion and cement.
CONSTITUTION: (al) An emulsion of an epoxy resin such as glycidyl ether of bisphenol A and/or bisphenol F having 170-135 epoxy equivalent is blended with (a2) an emulsion of a synthetic resin such as styrene-butadiene-based latex and (a3) an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer-based emulsion in the weight ratio of (al)/(a2)/(a3)=1/(0.3-0.4)/(0.1-0.4) to prepare a resin composition (A). The composition A is mixed with (B) a water dispersion of mono(poly)amidoamine such as a polyalkylenepolyamine and (C) hydraulic cement such as Portland cement in the weight ratio of the (A)/(B)/(C)=1/(0.3-0.4)/(3.0-5.0) to give a waterproof coating composition.
