Abstract:
To enable suppressing increase in torque caused by a waterproof seal acting on a spinning reel by suppressing an influence of eccentricity and preventing water pressure from easily applying to a main lip itself, and accordingly achieving low torque.SOLUTION: A waterproof structure, to be provided on a spinning reel comprising a cover member 17 provided over a reel body and disposed at an outer periphery of a spool shaft 41, and a rotor 3 provided in front of the cover member 17, has a seal member 7 for waterproofing all circumference between the cover member 17 and the rotor 3. The seal member 7 includes a main lip 73 liquid-tightly coming into contact with the rotor 3 in an axial direction of the spool shaft, and the cover member 17 includes an annular wall part 172 covering a contact part with which the main lip 73 comes into contact, from the outer peripheral side across the whole circumference.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
