Abstract:
To provide a waterproof device with a simple structure and a sturdy structure for swiftly shielding a flooding danger area of an opening (entrance door, wide window etc) of a structure such as various buildings, subways, underground passages, underground parking lots and the like so as to securely prevent an abrupt inflow water intrusion from outside.SOLUTION: A waterproof device comprises a waterproof panel including both side parts and a lower end part of a back surface tightly abutting both side parts of an opening of a structure and between lower parts of said both side parts of the structure to prevent inflow water intrusion from outside through the opening, and is characterized in that upper and lower sides of both side parts of said waterproof panel are coupled through a parallel pivoting shift link mechanism in the upper and lower sides of both side parts of said opening and said waterproof panel in a manner allowing said waterproof panel to shift pivotably in parallel relative to both side parts of said opening, and said parallel pivoting shift link mechanism is configured to be coupled through a double ratchet wrench type link arm or a single ratchet type link arm. The waterproof device is characterized in that seal members are arranged on back surfaces and lower end surfaces of both side parts of said waterproof panel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
