Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof device capable of enhancing cut-off performance between a waterproof member and an installation surface by applying sufficient pressing force to an elastic member provided to a lower end portion of the waterproof member irrespective of magnitude of self-weight of the waterproof member.SOLUTION: A waterproof device comprises: a waterproof member 10 supported by a support body provided on an installation surface; an elastic member 20 being provided to a lower end portion 10b of the waterproof member 10 and elastically deformable in a vertical direction; and a pressing force section 40 being provided to the waterproof member 10 and capable of applying force in the vertical direction to the elastic member 20. The pressing force section 40 has a pressing force surface 40a intersecting with the vertical direction and being opened upward.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
