Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an explosion-proof light with improved waterproof performance.SOLUTION: The explosion-proof light comprises: a body provided with a lamp emitting light; a converter 200 to convert electric power supplied to the body; a junction box electrically connected to the converter through a power line W; a connector 400 mechanistically connecting the converter and the junction box and provided with a hollow part to pass the power line through; and packing 500 which blocks passage of water through between the power line and the converter in a fastening hole of the converter to screw the connector into, and whose edge is compressed by the connector when mounted on a projection of the converter, where the packing is configured to increase the area adhering to an outer peripheral surface of the power line even if the edge is compressed by the connector.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
