Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof protecting cover capable of suppressing to the utmost the movement of an electric wire at connection or crooking, preventing the leakage of a sealant, and preventing the breakage of an insulating cover.
SOLUTION: This cover 51 is constituted so as to protect an electric wire connecting part housed between a main body 2 and a cover 3 through a sealant 40 by combining the main body 2 and the cover 3 and filling the sealant 40 in them. A joint fixing part for fixing a joint metal fixture 102 of an electric wire connecting part by closing the main body 2 and the cover 3 is formed in the main body 2 and the cover 3, and the joint fixing part is constituted with a joint fixing wall 55 having an accepting recess 56 of the joint metal fixture 102, a stopper 60 for regulating the movement in the length direction of electric wires 100, 101 by inserting into the gap of the electric wires 100, 101 in the vicinity of the joint metal fixture 102, and a pressing projection 57 for pressing the joint metal fixture 102 against the accepting recess 56.
