Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain excellent waterproof protecting cloth improved in resistance to cutting and abrasion resistance, and practical clothes using the cloth. CONSTITUTION:The objective waterproof protecting cloth is woven and knitted fabric whose surface is constituted with a higher density than the rear side and the yarn constituting the surface contains at least 50% para-aromatic polyamide fiber and an elastomer is contained in the woven and knitted fabric. In the cloth, tensile strength measured according to JIS K-6552 is >=10kg, tearing strength is >=5kg and plane wear strength measured according to JIS L-1096 is >=500 times. Further, working clothes and rider suit are formed by sewing the cloth.
