Abstract:

To provide a waterproof screw capable of easily and surely waterproofing the front end of a screw and a waterproofing method using the same.

A waterproof screw is provide with a sealant at the front end of a screw, and a binding film is provided around the sealant. The waterproof screw 6 is configured by winding a tape 7 around the front end 6f of the screw so that a sealant side becomes inside. The tape 7 is constituted by laminating the sealant having visco-elasticity on a transparent resin film. In a waterproofing method, the tape constituted by laminating the binding film on the sealant is wound on the front end of the screw that the sealant side becomes inside and the screw is fastened to waterproof around the front end 6f of the screw.
