Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a waterproof seal which can ensure enough waterproof properties even to an outer wall face with uneven parts with sudden changes in their shape and being deep and is easily fitted and whose waterproof properties are not lowered even when a tensile force is applied on a decorative material.
CONSTITUTION: A seal for waterproofing for a gap between an sheathing material and an exterior decorative material is constituted of two layers with a hard layer 11 consisting of a hard foamed material and a flexible layer 12 consisting of a flexible foamed material fixed on one face of the hard layer 11. The clearance between the surface of the sheathing material and the end face of the decorative material is sealed mainly with the hard layer and the uneven parts on the surface of the sheathing material are sealed with the flexible layer.
