To provide a light-weight waterproof sheet for building material, having sufficient waterproofness and excellent nail hole sealability.
A waterproof sheet includes a first nonwoven fabric layer 11, a second nonwoven fabric layer 12 which is laminated on the upper side of the first nonwoven fabric layer, and a surface layer 2 which is laminated on the upper side of the second nonwoven fabric layer. The surface layer 2 is composed of a film which contains a resin and a rubber component. Fiber to constitute the first nonwoven fabric layer 11 has a fineness of 0.6 dtex to 10 dtex, while fiber to constitute the second nonwoven fabric layer 12 has a fineness of 0.1 dtex to 5 dtex. The fineness of the fiber to constitute the first nonwoven fabric layer 11 is larger than the fineness of the fiber to constitute the second nonwoven fabric layer 12 by 0.5 dtex or more.
