Abstract:
To provide a sound-absorbing material which is excellent in waterproofing effect.
The waterproof sound-absorbing material is a lamination consisting of a core formed of a nonwoven fabric having an apparent density ranging from 0.02 g/cm3 or more and less than 0.1 g/cm3; and a surface material formed of a fabric or a nonwoven fabric which is laminated at least on one surface of the core, and has an apparent density of 0.1 g/cm3 or more. The fabric or nonwoven fabric of the surface material is formed of fibers made of a polyolefin polymer at least on a surface of each fiber. It is preferable that the surface material is formed of core-in-sheath bicomponent fibers containing a polyolefin polymer as a sheath element.
