Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a waterproof strain relief assembly, which is formed by integrating an elastomer seal member and a strain relief member, and provide a waterproof connector at a low cost, in which the waterproof strain relief assembly is used and the number of part items is reduced. CONSTITUTION: A waterproof strain relief assembly 2 is formed by integrally forming an elastomer seal member 6 and a strain relief member 4 having rigidity. A wire is inserted into each wire housing cavity 10, and sealed with the cavity. Clamp half bodies 18 of the strain relief member 4, which are connected to each other through a hinge, are turned in each direction so as to hold a wire. The elastomer seal member is housed in the seal housing cavity of a connector housing in the sealing condition.
