Title:
WATERPROOF STRUCTURE OF MOTOR FOR VEHICULAR AIR-CONDITIONING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3971349
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof structure of a motor for vehicular air-conditioning which can prevent a control circuit device from being splashed.
SOLUTION: An extended part 24 integrally molded to a motor holder 2 covers a gap at the joined part of the motor holder 2 and a lower case 17. A turned-back part 26 is formed so as to be apart from the lower case 17 along the peripheral edge of a vent hole 23, and is provided to both ends in the longitudinal direction of the extended part 24. If open air taken into the motor 1 for the vehicular air-conditioning by the rotation of a fan includes water, a part of the water oozes out to the outside of the motor 1 for the vehicular air-conditioning from the gap at the joined part 21 of a blower case 20 and the motor holder 2. The oozed-out water drips along the extended part 24. Also, when the motor 1 for the vehicular air-conditioning is used in an inclined state, the water transuded from the gap at the joined part 21 streams down on the extended part 24 in the longitudinal direction. When it reaches the turned-back part 26, it drips down by the guide of the turned-back part 26. As a result, it is possible to prevent the control circuit device 16 from being splashed.
