Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproofing method for a parapet with a throating cogging having a narrow protrusion and a water drip metal fitting used with the method, the waterproofing method being executed without removing any of existing waterproofing structures and retaining fittings provided on a standing wall of the parapet with the throating cogging of the narrow protrusion.SOLUTION: A waterproofing method for protecting an existing waterproofing structure of a standing wall of a parapet and a water drip metal fitting used with the method are provided, the waterproofing method having any of the following fastened on a vertical wall surface of a throating cogging having a narrow protrusion: a top part of a plate material having an I-shaped cross-section of a water drip metal fitting A formed with the long plate material having the I-shaped cross-section and a long plate material having a Γ-shaped cross-section protruded in parallel to and below the long plate material having the I-shaped cross-section; a top part of the plate material having the I-shaped cross-section of a water drip metal fitting B formed with the long plate material having the I-shaped cross-section and a long plate material having the Γ-shaped cross-section protruded parallel to and below the long plate material having the I-shaped cross-section, a horizontal --shaped portion of the long plate material having the Γ-shaped cross-section inclining downward; or a top part of a water drip metal fitting C formed with a long rectangular plate body bent perpendicularly rearward near a central part on a shorter side, and then bent again perpendicularly downward leaving a small interval.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
