Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof nonflammable sheet having high nonflammability and waterproof. SOLUTION: This waterproof nonflammable sheet has a base cloth comprising a nonflammable woven fabric of an inorganic fiber, and a waterproof resin covering layer formed on one or both surfaces thereof and consisting essentially of a vinyl chloride resin. The characteristic value (a) represented by the equality (I): (a)=K/N<-0.7> of the warp and weft yarns of the base fabric [wherein, K is a cover factor represented by the equality of K=n/√N ((n) is the count of the warp or weft yarns per 25.4 mm; and N is a size of the warp yarn and the weft yarn expressed in terms of tex)] is regulated within the range of 60-150, and the waterproof resin covering layer contains 40-150 pts.wt. plasticizer and 3-150 pts.wt. inorganic flame retardant based on 100 pts.wt. vinyl chloride resin. The total dried weight of the vinyl chloride resin and the plasticizer is regulated so as to be 60-400 g/m<2> .
