Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the sliding resistance of the watertight rubber of a lifted/ lowered intake pipe.
CONSTITUTION: A steel plate is bent to form an intake pipe, multiple intake pipes are concentrically coupled, a watertight rubber is provided between the intake pipes, and the watertight rubber is constituted as follows: a ring-like bracket 12 is removably provided on the inner periphery of the outside intake pipe 2, a watertight rubber ring 13 is provided at a horizontal section 12a on the upper side of the bracket 12, a split watertight rubber pressing plate 14 is provided on it, and a guide plate 15 is inserted into the split slit of the split watertight rubber pressing plate 14. Tips of the guide plate 15 and watertight rubber ring 13 are brought into contact with the outer periphery of the inside intake pipe 1. The tip of the watertight rubber ring 13 is rounded and coated with urethane resin, the guide plate 15 is made of highly crystalline polyamide resin, thus the sliding resistance can be sharply reduced.
