Abstract:
To provide a penetration-type watthour meter for preventing a mischief after the official approval of a watthour, measuring a current by making a primary conductor penetrate it, and attachable to an existing distribution line in a distribution board later without causing power interruption at the exchange of the watthour meter, and a main body unit.SOLUTION: A watthour meter comprises, in a box body: a converter 11a in which a penetration hole 3 penetrating a primary conductor 4 is formed in the box body 2 and penetrating the primary conductor penetrated the penetration hole; a current detection circuit 11b for detecting a current flowing in the primary conductor on the basis of an output voltage of the converter; a first voltage signal connection part P1 connected with the primary conductor, and inputting a voltage signal of the primary conductor; a second voltage signal connection part P2 for connecting neutral-side conductors not penetrating the box body in the primary conductor; a voltage detection circuit 12 for detecting voltages inputted to the first voltage signal connection part and the second voltage signal connection part; and a power calculation part 14 for calculating a watthour on the basis of the detected current and the voltage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
