Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a watthour meter which can perform control so as not to measure electric energy when an applied voltage satisfies a predetermination condition.SOLUTION: A watthour meter 100 includes: a voltage sensor 2 for detecting a voltage of a distribution line 1; a current sensor 3 for detecting a current flowing along the distribution line 1; a power measurement section 5 for calculating a power value and a value of electric energy which is measured from a predetermined point of time on the basis of a voltage value and a current value detected by the voltage sensor 2 and the current sensor 3; a voltage determination section 7 for determining whether the voltage value detected by the voltage sensor 2 is within a predetermined range specified on the basis of a rated voltage; and a controller 8. When the voltage determination section 7 determines that the voltage value is out of the predetermined range, the controller 8 makes the power measurement section 5 stop measuring the electric energy and makes an output section 20 output a warning that an abnormal state of the distribution line 1 is detected.
