Abstract:
To provide a wave absorber having a thin thickness and a light weight.
A wave absorber is composed of a packing material 6, a polarizer 7 provided on the front face of the material 6, and a radio wave reflecting body 8 provided on the back face of the material 6. The material 6 itself has such a magneto-optical characteristic that rotates the plane of polarization of the polarizer 7 or the material 6 contains a layer having the magnetooptical characteristic.
